New Campus at 143 South Main Street

You may have noticed that Neumont has a new look on our website, and all of our materials.

We've also moved our campus to a completely renovated 11-story building at 143 South Main Street, in the urban core of downtown Salt Lake City, Utah.

ANNOUNCEMENT: NEUMONT UNIVERSITY'S NEW CAMPUS

Salt Lake City’s greatest tech secret, Neumont University, has moved to 143 South Main Street. On July 8, 2013 Neumont will open their downtown campus to students who will attend classes from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, all year long, and earn a bachelor’s degree in under three years.

Salt Lake City, July 1, 2013 – Neumont University will open its campus to students beginning July 8, 2013.  There will be an all student assembly at 1:00 pm that afternoon to discuss the features and nuances of living downtown. The majority of students in attendance will be living on campus at 143 South Main Street, or within a one mile commute at Neumont’s second student housing option – Eastside Apartments.

ABOUT THE CAMPUS:

Neumont’s downtown campus is located in the historic eleven-story Ezra Thompson building (former home of the Salt Lake Tribune). The campus and student housing are in the commercial core of Salt Lake City, one block from TRAX, and conveniently located near shops and grocers, public event venues, dining, and a variety of student-centered activities. The facility features custom-designed classrooms, innovation labs, multiple student common areas, and seven floors of on-campus student housing. Neumont brings more than 500 students, staff, and faculty to downtown Salt Lake City, with approximately 300 students living on-site or within one mile of the campus.

Building partners Michael Ferro and Vasilios Priskos (former chairman of the Downtown Alliance, and Downtown Development Committee), said of the project: "The extensive renovation of this historic landmark building marks an important shift for Salt Lake City's Main Street, and the building, which served as the historic home of The Salt Lake Tribune for nearly eighty years.  Neumont University, and its students, will be a great addition to the diverse culture and personality of our city."
